Artificial Intelligence for Everyone: A Guide for Parents, Seniors, and Beginners
Image from the original article on Médium.cz

A comprehensive guide for Czech beginners, seniors, and parents on how to start using AI chatbots. The article compares ten services available in the Czech Republic (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Seznam Asistent, Perplexity, Meta AI, DeepSeek, Grok, and Le Chat) in terms of price, Czech-language quality, safety, and practical use. It includes specific advice for safe usage, warnings about the risks of each platform, and practical tips on how to communicate with chatbots effectively.

How to start using AI chatbots in the Czech Republic — clearly, safely and without unnecessary spending

Marta is sixty-eight, lives alone in Olomouc, and was never really on friendly terms with computers. At most e-mail and WhatsApp messages to her grandchildren. Then her son showed her that into that very same WhatsApp she can write to an artificial intelligence — and it will reply to her in Czech, instantly, about anything. Today she consults it on what to cook from the leftovers in her fridge, has it explain medication package inserts in words she understands, and last month it helped her write an appeal against a rejected application at a government office.

Karolína, a thirty-three-year-old mother of two schoolchildren from Brno, discovered AI chatbots when she was desperately looking for a way to get her son to understand fractions. In two evenings, she and ChatGPT together solved what had been dragging on at school for a month. Now AI helps her plan meals for the whole week, drafts e-mails to the class teacher, and explains social studies to her son in a way that makes it fun for him.

Neither Marta nor Karolína are stories from an advertisement. They are examples of thousands of Czechs who, over the past year, have found out that artificial intelligence is not just for programmers and technology enthusiasts. According to surveys by the Pew Research Center (2025), roughly a third of American adults use AI chatbots — and at the same time more than 60% of people come into contact with artificial intelligence in everyday life without realizing it, through features built into apps and services. Among younger people, adoption is even faster: nearly two-thirds of American teenagers (64%) already use chatbots, and about a third of them daily. A similar trend is taking off in the Czech Republic as well.

This article is for you if you have not yet tried an AI chatbot, or you tried one and didn't know what to do with it. We will go through together what it actually is, which services work in the Czech Republic, how much it costs (spoiler: usually nothing), what to watch out for, and how to get the most out of it — whether you are a parent, a pensioner, or simply someone who is a little afraid of computers. No jargon, no complications. Just a practical guide you can use this very day.

Imagine you have at your disposal a highly educated assistant who sits by the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It speaks Czech. You don't have to book an appointment, you don't have to pay it, it doesn't judge you, and it is never uncomfortable with you asking a "stupid" question. You ask it anything — and it answers. Within a few seconds.

That, in essence, is an AI chatbot.

Technically it is a computer program that has learned to work with language so well that you can have a normal conversation with it. You don't have to enter any commands or know any special words. You simply write (or say out loud) what you need — just as you would write a message to a friend — and the AI replies.

It is important to understand what an AI chatbot is and what it is not:

It is a handy helper for everyday things: cooking, writing, explaining, planning, translating, homework, advice, inspiration, brainstorming, summarizing long texts.

It is not a doctor, a lawyer, or a financial advisor. It can help you understand a medical report in simple words, but it does not replace an examination by a doctor. It can help you write an appeal to a government office, but for complex legal problems you need an attorney. This distinction is crucial and we will keep coming back to it.

And one more thing: AI sometimes "hallucinates" — it makes up information that sounds convincing but is not true. Think of it as a very clever student who would rather give a wrong answer than say "I don't know." We will teach you how to spot such mistakes.

In February 2026 there are ten main AI services operating in the Czech Republic. Each offers something different and each is suited to a slightly different situation. Here is an overview — from the most accessible to the specialized ones.

ChatGPT from the company OpenAI is what most people imagine when you say "artificial intelligence." And there is a reason for that: in Czech it is among the best-functioning chatbots.

How to start: Open the page chat.openai.com in your browser, create an account (an e-mail is enough), and you can start typing. There is also a mobile app (iPhone and Android), where you can even talk to the AI out loud in Czech — it replies in a pleasant voice in real time. This voice feature has worked in the Czech Republic since the autumn of 2024.

How much it costs:

Payment: By Visa or Mastercard card, via Apple Pay and Google Pay. In the mobile app it is automatically converted into Czech crowns via the App Store / Google Play.

News for February 2026: As of 9 February 2026, OpenAI is testing ads in the free and Go versions of ChatGPT — so far only in the USA. In the Czech Republic ads are not displayed for now, but it is likely they will spread to Europe as well. You will find details in the Security and privacy chapter. The paid plans (Plus, Pro) remain ad-free.

Restrictions in the EU: The video generator Sora is not available in the EU due to regulatory restrictions.

Gemini from Google is doing excellently in the Czech Republic, for two reasons: it has a generous free plan and one of the cheapest paid versions, which on top of that you can share with the whole family.

How to start: Open gemini.google.com or download the Gemini app. If you have a Google account (Gmail), you don't have to create anything else — you log in with that same account. Gemini handles both written and voice conversation in Czech.

How much it costs:

A big advantage for families: You can share both the AI Plus and AI Pro plans with up to five family members. That means the whole family — parents and older children — has access to premium AI for the price of one larger coffee per person per month (AI Plus within a family works out to under 40 CZK per person).

Restrictions in the Czech Republic: In the EU you must be 18 for the paid plans. Some experimental features are so far available only in the USA.

Claude from the company Anthropic is a chatbot that prides itself on containing no ads and not trading in your data. In the Czech Republic it has been fully available since 2024.

How to start: Open claude.ai, register with an e-mail and phone number. An app exists for both iPhone and Android. Voice mode in Czech is so far limited — the main means of communication is written text.

How much it costs:

Why it is worth noticing: Claude excels at three things. First, it can work with very long documents (imagine an entire book or a 200-page contract — Claude reads it and answers questions). Second, it writes texts that sound more natural than the competition's. Third, Anthropic is the only major AI company that has publicly pledged not to display ads in conversations — in direct response to the introduction of ads in ChatGPT.

Limitation: The free version does not have access to the smartest models.

Copilot is built directly into Windows, the Edge browser, and the Microsoft 365 suite. For many people it is the AI they run into without looking for it.

How to start: Open the Edge browser and click the Copilot icon, or visit copilot.microsoft.com. You don't even need an account — it works right away.

How much it costs:

Watch out in the Czech Republic: Copilot is not pre-installed in Windows across the whole EU because of the European Digital Markets Act (DMA). You have to download it manually from the Microsoft Store. It's a minor thing, but if you are used to it "simply being there" — in the Czech Republic it is not.

Seznam Asistent is a chatbot from the largest Czech internet company, Seznam.cz. Launched in a beta version at the end of 2025, it is the only AI chatbot developed specifically for Czech users and the Czech internet.

How to start: Open asistent.seznam.cz and log in with your Seznam account (the same one you use for e-mail or Mapy.cz). The Asistent is also available directly on the Seznam.cz home page and in search results.

How much it costs:

Why it is interesting for Czech users: Seznam Asistent has three key advantages over foreign competitors. First, it is connected to the entire Seznam ecosystem — it is gradually being integrated with Zboží.cz, Sreality, Firmy.cz, Mapy.cz and other services. That means that over time it will help you not only with information but also with shopping and comparing products directly from Czech sources. Second, fresh Czech news reaches it within 15 minutes of publication — a speed that no foreign chatbot offers. Third, it is built on its own Czech language model, SeLLMa (temporarily supplemented by OpenAI models on European servers), with the goal of running everything on its own servers in the Czech Republic.

Limitations: The service is still in a beta version. Communication is so far text-only — without a voice mode and without the option to upload images. Within a single conversation you can ask a maximum of 10 questions. The quality of answers is improving rapidly, but for more complex queries it may still be weaker than ChatGPT or Gemini. The Asistent may use conversation history to personalize answers as well as for targeted advertising (depending on the user's settings).

Recommendation: Ideal for Czech news, searching for local information, and gradually for shopping and product comparison too. If you use Seznam services, it is worth keeping an eye on — it will gradually become a gateway to the whole ecosystem. For general questions and more complex tasks it is for now better to combine it with the foreign competition.

Perplexity is an AI chatbot focused on search. Unlike the others, it attaches links to sources with every answer, so you can verify where the information comes from.

How to start: Open perplexity.ai — it works even without registration.

How much it costs:

Why it is great: When you need to look up information and want to know where the AI is drawing from, Perplexity is the best choice. Ideal for verifying claims, doing research, and comparing products.

Meta AI from Facebook is available directly within WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger. In the EU it has been gradually available since 2025 (with restrictions due to GDPR). You don't have to install anything, you don't have to register anywhere — you simply write "@Meta AI" in a chat and it replies.

How much it costs: Nothing. Completely free and with no limit on the number of messages.

The catch: Meta AI was created so that Meta (formerly Facebook) could gain more data for its advertising network. Your conversations directly feed the advertising system, which then targets ads at you on Facebook and Instagram. In the EU, thanks to GDPR, you have the right to request deletion of your data, but as of 2025 Meta has started to train AI models on the data of European users as well. The quality in Czech lags behind the competition.

Recommendation: Use it for harmless, informal queries (recipes, simple questions, entertainment). For anything sensitive — health questions, financial matters, personal problems — do not use Meta AI.

DeepSeek is a Chinese AI chatbot that, at the start of 2025, surprised the world with performance comparable to American models at a fraction of the cost. The current version is available completely free and with no limit on the number of messages.

How to start: Open chat.deepseek.com, register with an e-mail or via a Google account. An app exists for both iPhone and Android.

How much it costs: Nothing. DeepSeek is completely free and with no message limit.

Why it is interesting: DeepSeek offers two modes — the ordinary Chat and the advanced Reasoner for more complex tasks (mathematics, logic, analysis). The quality of answers is on the level of the competition's premium models. Moreover, the models are open-source, which means anyone can verify them and run them on their own computer.

A fundamental warning for Czech users: In July 2025, NÚKIB (the National Cyber and Information Security Agency) issued an official warning against DeepSeek products. The Czech government simultaneously banned the use of DeepSeek in state administration. The reasons:

NÚKIB recommends that the general public "carefully consider using" DeepSeek and that persons in public functions not use it at all.

Recommendation: If it doesn't bother you that your conversations may be accessible to the Chinese authorities, DeepSeek offers excellent quality for free. But for sensitive queries (health, finances, legal matters, personal problems) definitely do not use it. For ordinary, non-sensitive use (recipes, explaining concepts, homework) it may be a reasonable choice — if you accept the risks stated above.

Grok is an AI chatbot from the company xAI, founded by Elon Musk. Since February 2025 the basic version has been free for everyone on the web grok.com and in the mobile apps. Grok stands out for its "cheeky" style — it answers more openly and provocatively than the competition.

How to start: Open grok.com and register, or download the Grok app for iPhone/Android. Grok is also integrated into the social network X (formerly Twitter).

How much it costs:

Advantages: Grok has access to data from the X network in real time, which is useful for current information and trends. It supports web search, image generation, and voice conversation (in the paid version).

Fundamental problems: At the turn of 2025/2026, Grok faced serious safety scandals — its image generator made it possible to create inappropriate deepfake photos of real people, including minors. According to the organization CCDH (Center for Countering Digital Hate), Grok generated approximately 23,000 such images in just 11 days. As of February 2026, xAI is under investigation by more than ten countries and regulators — including the EU (formal proceedings under the DSA), Ireland, France, the United Kingdom (Ofcom), India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Brazil and Spain. The EU is threatening a fine of up to 6% of worldwide turnover.

Recommendation: Given the severity of the safety problems, we do not recommend Grok as of February 2026, especially not for families with children. In January 2026 Musk did restrict image editing on the X platform, but in the standalone Grok app the features remained fully available. Until xAI demonstrates a fundamental reform of its safety measures, the competing services (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) are the safer choice.

Le Chat from the French company Mistral AI is so far less well known, but for Czech users it can be a very interesting choice. It is the only major AI chatbot developed in Europe, with data stored on European servers.

How to start: Open chat.mistral.ai, register with an e-mail. An app exists for both iPhone and Android.

How much it costs:

Why it is worth noticing: Le Chat excels in three areas. First, speed — it answers extremely fast. Second, multilingualism — Mistral deliberately optimizes for European languages including Czech. Third, data protection — the infrastructure runs in European data centers with ISO 27001 certification, and data is not sent outside the EU. This is a fundamental advantage for users who care about where their conversations end up.

Limitations: Czech is supported, but the quality still lags slightly behind ChatGPT and Gemini. The user community is smaller, so you will find fewer guides and tips in Czech. The free version has a limit of around 40 messages a day.

Recommendation: An excellent choice for users who prefer a European service with data stored in the EU. The Student plan at approximately 150 CZK a month is the cheapest paid AI plan on the market. For ordinary use, the free version with dozens of messages a day is sufficient.

If you have never talked to an AI chatbot before, here is the easiest way to start — literally in a few minutes.

That's all. No installations, no setting up.

Voice mode is especially useful for seniors and for anyone who finds speaking easier than typing on a keyboard. Both ChatGPT and Gemini have natural-sounding Czech voices.

Note: Meta AI works in the EU with restrictions and Czech may not be fully supported. For basic queries, though, it works.

Write naturally. An AI chatbot is not a search engine. You don't have to write keywords the way you do into Google. Write a whole sentence, as if you were writing to a friend. The more thoroughly you describe what you need, the better the answer you'll get.

Keep asking. If the first answer is not quite what you wanted, clarify: "That's not exactly what I meant. I'd rather like…" The AI remembers the entire conversation and adapts.

Say who it's for. Writing "Explain quantum physics to me" gives a different answer than "Explain quantum physics to me so that a sixth-grader can understand it." The AI adjusts the complexity according to what you tell it.

Don't be afraid to say that you don't understand. "Can you say that more simply?" or "I don't understand the third point, explain it differently" are perfectly legitimate questions.

Here are concrete examples — not theoretical ones, but the kind people in the Czech Republic actually use.

Homework and tutoring. You write: "My son is in fifth grade and doesn't understand fractions. Explain it to him using pizza." And the AI creates an explanation with examples that a child will understand. According to a Pew Research Center survey (2025), 64% of American teenagers already use AI chatbots — and here it will be similar. Important: teach children not to copy the AI's answers as their own, but to use them as an explanation — just as they would ask a teacher.

Meal plans and cooking. "Suggest a meal plan for the whole week for a family with two children (8 and 12 years old). Budget 3,000 CZK, no legumes, my son hates peppers." The AI generates seven lunches and seven dinners tailored exactly to your needs.

E-mails and letters. A parents' meeting, a complaint, communication with government offices, a letter to a neighbor — the AI writes the text for you, you just adjust it and send it.

Organization and planning. "I'm planning a birthday party for my eight-year-old daughter, the theme is unicorns, budget 2,000 CZK, 12 children." The AI suggests a program, games, a shopping list, and a timetable.

Decision-making. "My son wants to transfer to a different school. What questions should we ask ourselves before we decide?" The AI helps you structure your thinking — it doesn't decide for you, but it asks questions you wouldn't have thought of yourself.

Explaining medical reports. You photograph a package insert or a discharge report and write: "Explain this report to me in simple words. What exactly is the doctor telling me and what does it mean for my life?" The AI translates the medical jargon into understandable Czech. (But beware: AI does not replace a doctor. If you have doubts about a diagnosis or treatment, always consult a doctor.)

Companionship and conversation. This is a surprisingly common reason why seniors use AI. In a pilot program in the U.S. state of New York, over 800 lonely seniors received an AI companion, ElliQ. According to the program's evaluation (NYSOFA, 2023), 95% of participants experienced a reduction in feelings of loneliness, and the average user had more than 30 conversations with ElliQ a day. An AI chatbot of course does not replace human contact — but it can be a valuable supplement, especially at times when a person is alone.

Writing letters and handling official matters. "Help me write an appeal against a decision on a housing benefit. The office claims I don't meet the conditions, but I…" The AI helps formulate the text in correct officialese and points you to the relevant sections of the law. (Important caveat: For more complex legal matters — inheritance, court disputes, disability pension — always consult a lawyer. AI may hallucinate legal regulations that do not exist.)

Guides to technology. "I've just gotten a new Samsung Galaxy A55 phone. How do I set a larger font, a louder ringtone, and how do I add a contact?" The AI gives you a step-by-step guide, tailored exactly to your model.

Travel and planning. "I want to take a three-day trip to Český Krumlov. I have poor mobility, I walk with a cane. What can I visit and where is it wheelchair-accessible?"

Résumé. "Help me write a résumé. I worked for 15 years as a warehouse worker, now I'm looking for a job in logistics. I can drive a forklift and I have a category B and C driver's license." The AI creates a professional CV that you can edit and print.

Interview preparation. "Tomorrow I have an interview for an assistant position at a law office. What questions can I expect and how should I answer them?" The AI will rehearse answers to typical questions with you and help you formulate your strengths.

Cover letters. Tailored, for a specific position, with emphasis on what the employer is looking for.

For ordinary daily use — cooking, writing e-mails, explaining, conversation, planning, primary-school homework — the free version is fully sufficient. The difference between a free and a paid answer to the question "what to cook for dinner" is practically zero.

The most generous free plans in the Czech Republic:

Service / Free messages / Note

Gemini / Generous daily limit / Most generous

DeepSeek / Unlimited / NÚKIB security warning

ChatGPT / On the order of tens per few hours / Limits change

Seznam Asistent / 40/day, 100/week / Czech service, beta

Le Chat / ~40 per day / European service, data in the EU

Claude / About 20–40 per day / Depending on load

Copilot / Unlimited / In the EU must be downloaded manually

Perplexity / Unlimited + 5 Pro/day / Focused on search

Grok / About 10 per 2 hours / Not recommended (see above)

A practical trick: If you run out of messages on one service, switch to another. The combination of Gemini + ChatGPT + Claude + Le Chat will give you together more messages than most people will ever use — and it costs zero crowns.

A paid plan is worth it only in specific situations — and even then you don't have to keep it forever. All the services run on a monthly subscription with no commitment. You turn it on, use it, turn it off.

Paying for 1–2 months makes sense if:

You are dealing with a specific complex problem — a health matter, an appeal at a government office, inheritance proceedings, a job search. A paid model answers complex questions measurably better. With simple questions you won't notice the difference; with complex ones you will.

A child is preparing for entrance exams or the maturita — a month or two with a smarter model for systematic tutoring.

You need to process a long document — a contract, a will, your employer's annual report. The paid versions can handle documents of hundreds of pages; the free ones are limited.

The best price/quality ratio for families: Google AI Plus at 7.99 USD/month shared with the family — approximately 40 CZK per person.

The cheapest entry into paid AI: Google AI Plus at 7.99 USD/month (about 195 CZK), currently with a 50% discount for the first two months. Le Chat Student at 5.99 USD/month (about 150 CZK) is even cheaper, but requires student status.

Don't pay permanently unless you use AI professionally every day. For a pensioner, 490 CZK a month for Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus represents a non-negligible sum — with occasional use it doesn't pay off.

1. Don't share sensitive personal data. Don't send the AI your birth number (rodné číslo), account numbers, passwords, PIN codes, or copies of identity documents. An AI chatbot doesn't need them in order to help you, and your data is stored on servers abroad (mostly in the USA).

2. With health queries, be general. Instead of "My name is Jana Nováková, I live in Brno and I take drug X for disease Y," write "Woman, 65 years old, takes drug X for disease Y — what are the side effects?" The same quality of answer, no personal data.

3. Turn off training on your data. Most services by default use your conversations to improve their models. How to turn it off:

4. For sensitive queries, use Claude or Le Chat. Claude has the strongest commitments to privacy protection, displays no ads, and has publicly pledged that it does not plan to introduce ads. Le Chat keeps data exclusively in the EU. Perplexity is also a good choice for sensitive research.

5. Remember that AI is not confidential. Even if you turn off training, your conversations are stored for a certain time on the provider's servers. Don't write the AI anything you would write only to your closest friend under a promise of confidentiality.

As of 9 February 2026, OpenAI is testing ads for logged-in users of the free and Go versions of ChatGPT in the USA. The ads appear below the answers, are labeled as "Sponsored," and are targeted based on the content of your conversation, your chat history, and your interaction with ads. That means that when you ask about joint pain, you may be shown an ad for a dietary supplement. OpenAI claims it does not share conversations with advertisers — advertisers receive only aggregate data on ad performance (the number of impressions and clicks).

Why is this a problem? Because when you talk to someone about your health and they "recommend" a product to you, it is hard to distinguish independent advice from advertising. Especially for people who don't have much experience with technology. Moreover, ads are not displayed for sensitive topics (health, mental health, politics), but the definition of "sensitive" depends on OpenAI's algorithms.

Ad-free services (February 2026): Claude (a public commitment not to introduce ads), Le Chat, Perplexity. Gemini in the app is ad-free; in Google Search it has ads. DeepSeek and Grok are ad-free in the basic version, but with other risks (see above). In the Czech Republic ads in ChatGPT are not displayed yet, but it is likely they will spread.

This is the part that please read most carefully. An AI chatbot is an exceptionally useful tool, but it has fundamental limitations that can harm you if you are unaware of them.

All AI chatbots "hallucinate": they generate information that sounds absolutely convincing but is made up. They will invent a quote no one said. They will refer you to a study that doesn't exist. They will cite a section of a law that was never enacted.

How often does this happen? It depends on the type of question. With simple facts (the capital of France, a recipe for svíčková) the error rate is minimal. With complex legal or health queries the situation is significantly worse:

Check specific facts. If the AI cites a specific law, section, study, or statistic — verify it. Copy the key data into Google or into Perplexity (which attaches sources).

Watch out for overly smooth answers. When the AI answers a complex question with absolute certainty and without reservations — be cautious. Real experts say "it depends on the circumstances" and "there are differing views." An AI that claims something "unequivocally" and "with certainty" is probably making it up.

Use a "second opinion." For important questions, ask the same thing of two different AIs. If the answers differ significantly, you need to verify it with a human expert.

Never make a fundamental decision based solely on AI. Health decisions → a doctor. Legal decisions → an attorney. Financial decisions → a financial advisor. AI is an excellent first step — it helps you understand the situation, formulate questions, and prepare for a consultation with an expert. But it is not that expert.

Paid models are measurably more accurate than free ones — but not flawless. So a paid version is worth it where accuracy matters — but no version is reliable enough for you to trust it blindly.

If you are to take a single thing away from the whole article, let it be this:

For most people, most of the time: Gemini for free (excellent Czech, voice mode, generous limit) or ChatGPT for free (outstanding Czech, voice mode, lower limit). Alternate between the two, pay for nothing.

For families with schoolchildren: Google AI Plus (about 195 CZK/month shared with the whole family — under 40 CZK per person). The best price/performance ratio.

For students: Mistral Le Chat Student at approximately 150 CZK/month — the cheapest paid AI plan on the market.

For seniors: Gemini on a mobile phone with voice mode in Czech — you don't have to type, and it's free.

When you're dealing with a complex problem (law, health, government offices): For 1–2 months, Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus (around 490 CZK). Solve the problem, then cancel. And verify with an expert anyway.

When you need to verify information: Perplexity for free — it attaches sources to every answer.

For sensitive queries (health, finances, personal problems): Claude — the strongest privacy protection, no ads. Or Le Chat — data stays in the EU.

When you want as much as possible for free and you don't worry about privacy: DeepSeek — unlimited messages, a powerful model. But read the NÚKIB warning.

For Czech news and local information: Seznam Asistent — the fastest access to fresh Czech news, connected to the Seznam ecosystem.

The AI chatbot market is changing fast. During 2026, further parts of the new EU rules, the AI Act, will come into force, which will require every chatbot to clearly tell you that you are talking to an artificial intelligence, not a human. Chatbots will have to be more transparent about their limitations.

The quality of Czech keeps improving. The OpenEuroLLM project, in which Charles University in Prague participates as the main coordinator and which has a budget of 37.4 million euros from the EU Digital Europe program, is developing open AI models with an emphasis on all European languages including Czech. The French company Mistral AI is establishing itself as a European alternative to American and Chinese models — and it is precisely the emphasis on European languages and regulation that is one of the arguments for its growth. This should, in the coming years, further improve the quality of answers in Czech across all services.

Prices will change — both OpenAI and Google are currently introducing new pricing tiers (Go for ChatGPT, AI Plus for Gemini) that make AI accessible at a lower price. The free versions will remain available, because the companies need a large user base.

Let's go back to Marta from Olomouc. When her son first showed her an AI chatbot, she said: "It's like talking to a wall — it doesn't understand." A week later, when the chatbot helped her write an appeal to a government office, she said: "It understands better than that official does."

The best way to find out whether AI is useful for you is simply to try it. You're not committing to anything. You're not paying anything. You're not installing anything (unless you want to). Open gemini.google.com or chat.openai.com and ask about something that happens to be troubling you.

Maybe you'll find that it's not for you. That is perfectly all right.

But maybe you'll find out what millions of people before you have found out — that having at hand a clever assistant who speaks Czech, never sleeps, and never judges your questions is one of those things you didn't know you needed. Until you try them.

This article was prepared using data from the Pew Research Center (2025), Stanford University (2024, 2025), Oxford University / Nature Medicine (2026), NÚKIB, NYSOFA, and other sources from 2024–2026. Information on the availability of services and prices in the Czech Republic is valid as of February 2026 and may change. Prices are given in USD according to the providers' official price lists; the crown equivalents are approximate at an exchange rate of roughly 24.5 CZK per 1 USD. We recommend always verifying the current terms on the individual providers' websites.
